Abstract :

This project is based on the design and analysis of quick lifting jack with different gear arrangements. Before the new jacks the conventional jacks were operated manually and were highly time consuming and also exhausting for the operators, they have to be in prolonged squatting or bending position which tends to increase their back pain or increase getting muscle aches. Also in the industry there are different working groups of different age and for elderly person it is quite heavy work. Which leads to the invention of quick lifting jacks in which the labor of the operator is drastically reduced that increases the efficiency and reduction of time. In this project to reduce this type of labor work the design of the new hydraulic jack will be useful. In this jack there are two arrangement in gears which are bevel gear arrangement and spur gear arrangement also there is piston pump involved into it. This will provide both mechanical and hydraulic advantages into the jack.

Abstract :

The increasing consumption of energy and growth of environmental problems oil the wheels of exploring Renewable energy sources. Solar energy is one of the mostly used renewable energy and it is definitely a great solution as there are innovative ways to transfer energy using this technology. Efficient operation of solar panel is necessary due to higher cost. In this paper artificial neural network based MPPT algorithm is proposed for Indore region and comparison of Perturb and observe algorithm, Incremental conductance and ANN based MPPT is made using the temperature and irradiance data of 2019-2020 of Indore region, the study shows the Power Output and corresponding Voltage using different algorithms with the input as annual temperature and irradiance of Indore. The output is evaluated using Matlab version 2015. The study shows the effectiveness of artificial neural network as compared to other two algorithms.

Abstract :

This study presents the effects of vertical ground motion on flat slab structure. In current scenario, most of design codes including IS 1893-2016 suggest design for vertical acceleration component of earthquake as 2/3 of horizontal. During the recent earthquakes, the vertical component of ground motion found to be exceeding the horizontal component. It is therefore, necessary to study response of structure in this type of earthquake where peak ground acceleration (PGA) of vertical component may exceed 2/3 of the horizontal one. In this study time history analysis has been performed using 10 unscaled Near-source seismic records. For account of effect of vertical ground motions 5 different structural system has been considered including Drop, Shear wall and 3 flat plate with different thickness. Variations in different parameters like axial force in column, punching shear at slab-column joint, deflection of slab has been discussed. The results of the analyses shows that vertical ground motion can significantly affect flat slab system in terms of axial force fluctuations in column, punching shear and deflection in slab.

Abstract :

This Research Paper describes smart retail based on the IOT (Internet of Things). Today, inventory management is becoming more complex. The biggest problem faced by the store owner is increasing sales and reducing operating costs. Not only the store owner, but also the customer, may face a problem with product finding and product unavailability. To solve this problem, we use IOT technology. IOT aims to integrate networked information systems with real world entities. It connects objects like smart phones, sensors with the cloud where the data is stored. With the help of this system owner can maintain inventory information also place inventory order. The customer can easily see the product information like expiration date, price, nutrients, etc. They can also see if the product is available in store or not. The customer can also share the sales list with other people and receive notification of offers.

Abstract :

Traditional firewalls have long been incapable of dealing with the new threats that everyday Internet users face. The next-generation firewalls are the subject of this article. The paper's first section discusses current threats and assaults. We went through the attacks in great detail since they are among the most common and can harm the device. Then we went over the theoretical foundations of firewalls and the features of next-generation firewalls. We conducted various tests of next-generation firewalls in the following section, reviewing and reporting. The paper aimed to see whether next-generation firewalls are suitable to replace traditional firewalls and thus lead to adequate Internet user security.

Abstract :

FACTS (Flexible AC Transmission Systems) and in particular SVC (Static VAR Compensator) and STATCOM (Static Synchronous Compensator) are shunt devices used to control reactive power flow in distribution system. They offer remedies to voltage dips and swells, mitigating harmonic distortion, and restoring balance between phases due to unbalanced load or on occurrence of severe faults These may be caused by for instance in distributed generation, during dynamic operations in heavy induction motor load or high speed rail traffic. The paper focuses on performance of D-STATCOM for various load conditions and voltage fluctuations taking place in distribution systems for reactive power compensation. A MATLAB/Simulink® based simulation study is presented under balanced, unbalanced load and fault condition to validate voltage improvement concept. Static and dynamic performance of a ±3 MVAr D-STATCOM on a 11 kV distribution network is validated.
